The Premise
Thoughts don't keep office hours. They arrive on the train, at 2am, in the middle of a meeting.
Anchr Guide listens first, one thoughtful question at a time.
Then it matches what you share to 291 evidence-based modules across 6 frameworks.
One pathway, built for you. Steady the hard moments first, then work on the loop, then make room for the loss.
Support is often out of reach: waitlists, cost, distance, finding the right fit. And even with help, a session is one hour of a 168-hour week. Anchr is built for the other 167, at every pace life actually moves.
Explore what you're going through and get a pathway built for you, or simply talk. Switch between the two at any point. Pick a starting point and try it.
Anchr Guide takes time to understand what you're going through. It asks open questions, one at a time, reflects back what it heard, then recommends a pathway of self-care modules that fit. It won't recommend a module it isn't confident about.
Relationship struggles, work stress, a thought you can't shake: bring whatever is on your mind. Talk It Through weaves evidence-based techniques into the conversation, with no jargon and no scripts, always at your pace.
Interactive, illustrative conversation.
Most chatbots generate replies. Anchr Guide builds a sequence, the way a structured program would, and every recommendation is checked before it reaches you.
Every module knows what has to come before it. You never land on a concept that needs learning you haven't done yet.
A breakup with a looping mind? Distress tolerance to steady things, CBT for the loop, then IPT to make room for the loss.
Mood trends, finished modules, the techniques that helped and the words you used carry into the next conversation.
Signs of crisis bring human support forward, never just another module. It's automated, so it's no substitute for emergency help.
Every module is a short run of lessons you work through at your own pace. The notes you write stay private to you, and Anchr Guide can draw on them when you talk, so it builds on what you've already discovered. Follow one example from each framework.
Turn what you learn into small, doable things. Everyday activities give your days a gentle rhythm. Goals, in your own words, give your weeks a direction. There's no score to chase, and a step that didn't happen still tells you something.
Your Activities
A Week With AnchrFollow Sam from Monday to Sunday
Illustrative week. Screens match the app.
Goals
Choose from 46 everyday habits, from a daily walk to screens off before bed, or write your own. Pick the days, get a gentle reminder, and mark each one Did It, Did Some or Got in the Way.
Name something you'd like more room for. Plan one small step with a smaller backup, decide what you'll do if something gets in the way, and check in once a week on a ladder you write yourself.
Your own goals and activities stay private. If you see a clinician, the ones you agree together sit in their own section, and you choose what they see.
42 short, evidence-informed skills across 7 categories, from a one-minute breath pacer to a script for a hard conversation. Tell it how you're feeling and it suggests where to start, then learns which skills actually help you.
How are you feeling right now?
Try a manageable way to settle
Most apps ask how you're feeling and stop there. An Anchr check-in captures your mood, the feelings behind it, sleep, energy, stress and more, then rolls it into an Anchr Score: a rolling 7-day view that shows progress you can't always feel. Private, unless you choose to share it.
Your first pattern: evenings are harder than mornings.
Rolling 7-day Anchr Score with trend analysisIllustrative example. Insights build at day 3, 7, 14, 21, 30, 60 and 90.
Each signal is weighted, so a rough night or a good conversation shows up in the trend.
Neutral is valid. You're here.
Pick your mood first and Anchr offers only the feelings that fit it, so a good day never asks if you're overwhelmed.
The everyday pieces that make the bigger work easier. No ads, no endless feed, and a monthly check that Anchr isn't becoming a crutch.
14 grounding exercises of about 60 seconds each, many with gentle haptics in time with your breath. Ground yourself wherever you are.
Values across 10 life domains. See which ones line up with your better days.
Reflect, get a suggestion that fits your mood, breathe, and step away from the screen.
9 techniques with before-and-after intensity, so you can see which ones quiet a sticky thought.
A 10-question monthly check on how you use AI, Anchr included. The mental health app that tells you when to put it down.
Anonymous, screened notes of support. On a good day, be someone's anchor on their hard one.
An encrypted journal for writing, unsent letters, voice memos and photos. Visible only to you, never shared, even with a clinician.
A daily offline micro-mission, from a phone-free meal to a handwritten note. The real world needs you.
A comparison by type of product, not by brand. Features vary between providers, so check any app against what matters to you.

One AnchrDeeper work, togetherWhat people ask first, answered plainly. The full FAQ covers privacy, data and everything else.
Read the full FAQNo. Anchr is a self-help app. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and Anchr Guide is an AI, not a clinician. Many people use Anchr alongside professional care, between sessions, or while they wait to see someone. If you live with a serious or worsening mental health condition, please use Anchr alongside professional care rather than instead of it.
Free includes one Explore & Discover session, one Talk It Through session each month (plus a one-time bonus when you complete a lesson), foundation modules and the first module of your pathway, goals and everyday activities, mood check-ins and the Anchr Score, and the free Toolkit skills. The Anchr Subscription ($14.99 AUD a month) adds all 291 modules and 1,276 lessons, up to 2 Talk It Through sessions a day, 2 Explore & Discover sessions a month, reassessment, the full Toolkit and Anchr Someone. No tiers, no annual contract.
Everyday activities are small habits you choose, like a daily walk, time outside or a call with a friend, or one you write yourself. Pick the days, get a gentle reminder if you'd like one, and mark each day Did It, Did Some or Got in the Way. Goals are in your own words: plan one small step at a time, with a smaller option and a plan for what might get in the way, then reflect on how it went. Once a week, you choose how close the goal feels on a ladder you describe yourself. Progress is shown in words, never as a score.
Yes. If your clinician uses Anchr, link your account with the invite code or link they give you. They can assign modules and Toolkit skills, agree activities and goals with you, work on a safety plan and hold video sessions in the app. While you're linked, Anchr Subscription features are included at no cost to you.
Only you, unless you choose to share. If you link with a clinician, you pick which categories they can see and can switch any of them off at any time. Your Vulnerability Vault and your own goals and activities stay private. Your personal information is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared with employers, insurers or data brokers.
Tap CRISIS, on every screen, for helplines in your country. Anchr also looks for signs of crisis in what you write and shows support straight away. This is automated and can miss or misread things, and Anchr staff do not monitor your activity, so please don't rely on it to keep you safe. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (000 in Australia).
Healing should not be a luxury. Professional help is irreplaceable, but the knowledge that helps people grow should be available to everyone. You already have more capacity for growth than you think.
An AI guide that remembers you. Goals and activities that carry what you learn into real life. Tools for the hard moments, and a score that shows the progress you can't always feel. If a clinician is already in your corner, Anchr makes the work between sessions deeper, never replacing them.
Anchr is a self-help app, not a replacement for professional care. If you're in crisis, tap CRISIS, on every screen, for immediate help, or call 000 in Australia.
